Alfred Gmail Access — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Alfred Gmail Access is a personal automation application owned and operated by Joseph Bryant for use with his own Google account and his own email only. It is not offered to the public, and no other person uses it or has data processed by it.

What the application accesses

Through Google's Gmail API, the application can read, send, label, import, back up, and organize the owner's own email, and manage the owner's own Gmail settings such as filters, labels, send-as identities, and forwarding addresses. It accesses this data solely to carry out tasks the owner directs his personal assistant to perform on his own mailbox.

How data is used

Email data is processed only on systems controlled by the owner and his assistant, only for the owner's own purposes (organization, search, backup, and correspondence he directs). The data is never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and never used to train models.

Storage and retention

Backups and working copies are stored on the owner's own computers and storage accounts. The owner may delete them at any time. OAuth access can be revoked at any time from the owner's Google Account security settings, which immediately ends the application's access.
